Door locked -- the first time ever.
Keys stowed away behind the furnace -- he didn't think he'd ever get them out. He also wondered how he'd get out in the morning.
Windows barricaded -- that had been quite complicated but he had decided to make sure that he couldn't possibly escape through the window although he highly doubted it would happen.
Cell phone disassembled -- calls could become a problem. He could simply call someone to get him out.
He had considered handcuffing himself to the bed to make sure he couldn't escape but had decided that that would be very uncomfortable and he would probably never get out of the room.
All in all, he had made sure he wouldn't end up in Hobbie's bed tonight. Unfortunately, he had noticed too late that there was one small problem and int involved Hobbie sitting on his bed silently watching him as he blocked one escape way after the other.
